About the Author
Gordon J. Zimmerman, is a senior partner in Borden Ladner Gervais LLP'sĀ  Toronto Intellectual Property Group. Certified by The Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Intellectual Property Law (patents, trademarks, copyright). He practises exclusively in the area of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyright, industrial designs, trade secrets and confidential information, including prosecution and related litigation. He has appeared as counsel in the Federal Court of Canada (at trial and on appeal), High Court of Ontario (at trial and on appeal) and on applications for leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada.
Bradley Freedman is a partner and Vancouver regional leader of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP'sĀ Information Technology Group. He advises clients in negotiating, structuring and documenting information technology and intellectual property transactions and acts as counsel in litigation, arbitration and mediation regarding information technology and intellectual property disputes.
